Campout / Crossover Ceremony
Saturday, May 19 will be our last formal Pack meeting for the season and Crossover Ceremony. It will be at Jester Park, Group Campsite #5.
Agenda
Saturday, May 19
- 1:00 – 5:00 pm – Arrive & setup tents
- 2:00 – 5:00 pm – Skill stations (optional attendance)
- 5:00 – 6:00 pm – Free time
- 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Evening meal (chicken, pork, mac & cheese, PB&J, chips)
- 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Crossover, awards & announcements
- 8:00 pm – flag retirement ceremony
- Sundown – Night hike, campfire, smores, & movie
- 10:30 pm – Lights out
Sunday, May 20
- 7:00 – 8:00 am – Wakeup
- 8:00 – 8:45 am – Breakfast
- 8:45 – 9:00 am – Prayer service
- 9:00 – 11:00 am – Campsite breakdown & cleanup
What to Bring
- Class A uniform for ceremony, must be in uniform for advancement
- Tent (ground tarp is helpful)
- Hammer (for driving stakes)
- Mat for front of your tent
- Air mattresses or cots
- Sleeping bags/blankets
- Pillows
- Chairs
- Coat/gloves/stocking hat in case of cold
- Stuffed animal?
- Extra clothes (last year it was muddy)
- Extra socks
- Extra shoes or boots
- Wipes (there is sanitizer available, but just a suggestion)
- Sunscreen
- Ball glove, balls, favorite outdoor game if you care to, not required
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Umbrella?
- Earplugs (in case any sleeping bears are around)
- Water bottle
- Snacks/drinks for your tent only if you want (water or lemonade is available at meals)
- Flashlight
- Toothbrush
- Any medications (prescription, allergy, etc.)
