There are a couple summer camp opportunities I wanted to make you aware of.
The first one is Camp Akela. This is located on the Camp Mitigwa property which is owned by the Mid Iowa Council. It located Northwest of Madrid. Camp Akela offers the opportunity for boys to shoot bb guns, bows and arrows, and sling shots. There is a pool (with lifeguard) and a lodge where food is served. Scouts are arranged by campsite and depending how many attend, you would be paired up with families from other packs. In my experience, the more scouts that can attend from Pack 171, the more fun it is. Below is the Akela home page.

The second camp opportunity is the Twilight Camp. This is a week long camp that runs from 6-9pm each night. No sleepover involved. It is typically held in July. Registration for this camp is not yet open. This camp is an immersive opportunity for scouts to experience a wide variety of skills like fishing, rockets, archery, fire starting, and first aide. It is typically well attended and well run. Below is the home page for Twilight Camp:
